Aston Villa v Everton Bet Builder – Match Result, Cards and Goalscorer Selections
Two Premier League heavyweights go up against each other in the early Premier League kickoff as Frank Lampard’s Everton side go up against Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa side.
This looks a juicy looking bet builder so lets get stuck in.
First up, we don’t fancy Aston Villa to win this one. There a a few things going on behind the scenes at Villa Park and Steven Gerrard is finding things tough at the moment.
Was anyone impressed by Aston Villa‘s stuttering 2-0 defeat in the season opener against Bournemouth?
Not us.

Back Everton to win
Back Abdoulaye Doucouré to be booked
Back Demarai Gray to score anytime
The pressure is really starting to build on Gerrard and its now only two wins in their last twelve Premier League games for the Villa.
Everton also got off to a bad start, losing 1-0 at home to Chelsea but the addition of Conor Coady and Amadou Onana look to be shrewd signings.
Now may just be right time to back against Aston Villa, especially with off field rumours around the falling out of Gerrard and club captain Tyrone Mings.
Everton to win the match at 4/1 looks a cracking bet and that price gets our bet builder off to good base.
We’re also liking Abdoulaye Doucouré to be booked.
The Everton midfielder put in a massive 5 tackles in the Chelsea game and one lose challenge could bring a card.
Its sure to be competitive in midfield with Villa’s John McGinn a battling competitor so we’re happy to add Doucouré to be booked as things could get tasty which takes the bet builder to a half decent 10/1.
Goals could be hard to come by in this one but one player who looked sharp last week was Everton’s Demarai Gray.
Gray should come in for the injured Dominic Calvert-Lewin and he could fire the Toffees to victory today.
If we add him to our bet builder that brings the odds to 33/1 which complete our three selections for today’s lunchtime kickoff in the Premier League.
