Arsenal’s League One opponents Wimbledon come into this game on the back of a defeat to Plymouth last weekend, which ended their decent run of five unbeaten. There’s little doubt however that there is a massive gulf in class between the two sides and Arsenal should have not too many difficulties progressing to the next round.

Team changes will be all important for this one, considering its the North London derby next Sunday against Tottenham, so Arsenal will want to keep a fully fit squad and come through this game unscathed.

There’s probably little value in backing the 1/7 on the home win, and at those odds only the big hitters will be interested in that price. Likewise, the 14/1 on the Wimbledon away win offers very little appeal, perhaps for those looking for a speculative low stakes punt.

Depending on team news Arsenal shouldn’t have too many problems covering this.

This will probably make things more exciting and give you more value.
