Arsenal
Arsenal v Man City Bet Builder Tips – Requestabet Predictions for Super Sunday
Arsenal take on Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday in a 4:30pm kick-off at the Emirates Stadium.
City have won 12 straight league games and are on a seven match winning run against Arsenal in the Premier League, too, so the odds are stacked against Mikel Arteta’s side.
If the Gunners can record a surprise win, though, they could move up to eighth in the table depending on results elsewhere on Sunday.
City are odds-on 1 / 2 favourites to win the match, with the draw 7/2 and an Arsenal win 6/1.
I actually think the odds on Pep Guardiola’s side winning are pretty generous for a change given their recent dominance over Arsenal.
Arsenal are unbeaten in six home league games, but I just think City will be too strong for them here so will back them to win.
With Jon Moss officiating, I’m keen to oppose cards in some way given that the 50-year-old has shown fewer than four cards in 10 of his last 11 PL games.
Backing Arsenal to receive one card – which 13 of City’s last 14 league opponents have done – while also adding Under 6 Cards for Both Teams Combined gives us a nice even-money shot:
Man City to win, Over 0 Cards for Arsenal, Under 6 Cards for Both Teams Combined @ EVS.
If you’re looking for a bigger price, Man City to win, Over 1 Goal for Both Teams Combined, 1+ card each, Under 5 Cards and Over 3 Corners for Man City is 4/1.
With Moss in charge I’m not too interested in player cards, but Hector Bellerin at 4/1 (Sky Bet) looks a little too big given he has been booked seven times this season and will be up against Raheem Sterling.
Granit Xhaka is always worth considering, too, so doubling him with Bellerin for 16/1 appeals.
The only City player I would touch in this market is Joao Cancelo at 13/4 (Unibet) if he starts at left-back against Bukayo Saka.
I successfully backed Phil Foden to have 2+ shots on target against Everton in midweek at 3/1, so I’m surprised to see him at this price once again with Sky Bet.
If he is handed a central role once agin without Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne in the side, it’s a brilliant price for a player bang in-form.
Betfair have various boosts with Saka and either Gundogan, Foden or Sterling to have a shot on target each, so take your pick depending on the team news.
